17287631 Canada Inc. (operating as "Renooli") is committed to protecting the privacy of the brokerages and individuals who use our platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with the Renooli platform and related services (the "Services").
By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We operate in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
When you register for or use the Services, we may collect account information such as your brokerage name, contact name, email address, phone number, and business address; Renewal Data you enter into the platform, including client names, client codes, policy expiration dates, and premium amounts; and communications you send us, including support requests and inquiries.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Services, we automatically collect log data (IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited), device information, usage data (features used, actions taken, time on platform), and data from cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, operate, and maintain the Services; manage your account and process your Renewal Data; communicate with you about your account and support matters; send service-related notices and, where you have consented, marketing communications in accordance with CASL; monitor and improve the Services; detect and address security incidents or fraud; comply with legal obligations; and generate anonymized analytics that do not identify you or your clients.
We do not sell your personal information or Renewal Data to third parties.
3. How We Share Your Information
We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers (such as cloud hosting and analytics providers) who are contractually required to protect your information and may not use it for their own purposes.
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority. Where permitted, we will notify you of such requests.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify you of any such transfer.
We may share anonymized or aggregated data that cannot identify you or your clients for research or analytics purposes.
We do not share your information in any other circumstances without your explicit consent.
4. Your Renewal Data
You retain full ownership of all Renewal Data you enter into the Services. We process your Renewal Data solely to provide the Services to you and treat it as confidential in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. You may request the export or deletion of your Renewal Data at any time by contacting support@renooli.com.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the Services. We use essential cookies (necessary for the Services to function), functional cookies (to remember your preferences), and analytics cookies (to understand how users interact with the platform). You may control cookie preferences through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect functionality. We do not use cookies for advertising.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information and Renewal Data for as long as necessary to provide the Services and fulfill the purposes in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
7. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including secure cloud hosting and industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information or Renewal Data, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and in accordance with PIPEDA.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information; withdraw consent to processing where consent is the basis; and opt out of commercial electronic messages at any time under CASL. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@renooli.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.
9. Third-Party Links
The Services may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party tools. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Where changes are material, we will provide notice by email or a prominent notice within the Services at least fourteen (14) days before changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
